The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, led by President Shri Keisham Meghachandra Singh and Shri Surjakumar Okram, MLA Khangabok AC, extended warm greetings and a message of love to Muslim Haj Yatris from Manipur at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal, today.
The Congress delegation included Md Amir Hussain, Md Wahidur Rahman, Md Siraj Ahmed (General Secretaries, MPCC), Md Zakir Hussain (Chairman, Minority Dept., MPCC), Md Tajuddin Shah (Vice President, MPYCC), Md Basir Ahmed (General Secretary, Thoubal DCC), Alhaj Kiramat Ali (President, Wangkhem BCC), Md Emamuddin Shah (President, Lilong BCC), and other office bearers of the Minority Department, MPCC.
The Minority Department, MPCC, led by its Chairman Md. Y. Zakir Hussain, also facilitated volunteers at the airport to assist and see off the Haj pilgrims, ensuring comfort and care for the departing yatris and their families.
This gesture reflects the Congress Party’s commitment to harmony, inclusivity, and respect for the cultural and religious sentiments of every community in Manipur.
